& Chapel Rd (SK342 962), ~S on Chapel Rd for ~300m, ~WSW thru small
Woods, curve ~S to cross Elliot Lane at (SK339 954), ~SSW then WNW
to cross A61 Rd at (SK337 954), ~150m ~W along Woodseats, turn ~WNW past
Barnes Green Farm for about 900m then ~NNW to path jnct at (SK326
960), ~W then WSW to Bar Hse on Woodhead Rd, ~300m ~NNW along Rd,
thru gate into Wharncliffe Chase, follow route about 150m W of rd past
Chase Lodge, & continue on to gate in Chase north
boundary at (SK308 973), follow stone wall (outside Chase) for about 400m,
turn ~NNW along track to small pond at (SK298 981), ZZ ~SW to join path on
Wharncliffe Crags at (SK296 979), follow generally southward above
Wharncliffe Crags, below
Upper Rock, Wharncliffe Crags to pass Wharncliffe Farm
then Wh. Lodge to gate re entering into Wh. Chase at (SK306 956),
follow track thru Robb Stones then Broom Royd then ~SE to exit
Chase at ladder stile at (SK317 952), ~ 80m ~E on track then turn ~N to
Hollow Farm, turn ~ENE to Hallfield Head Farm then ~N
for ~80m, FP ~ENE on edge of farm to cross Woodhead Rd at Bar House,
~ 280m ~ENE to path junction take path ~N to (unseen) Pump Hse ,then NE
then ~ESE just before A61 Rd, cross Rd, then path ~ESE thru Low Hall Wood
to join Hallwood Rd ~ESE then continuing ~E down Burncross Rd to
start at Crown & Cushion. On Saturday
