The railway line Sheffield to Stocksbridge used for transporting steel products now much reduced in volume. Time to put on a 'high speed tram' from Sheffield to Stocksbridge return with resitedstations also at Oughtibridge, Wharncliffe Side, Deepcar and possibly more than one in Stocksbridge? |

looking across at Oughtibridge |
Have crossed Oughtibridge Lane - concrete road into 'Works' which we followed is just below us to right. |
Are these disused works now fenced off about to be converted into housing units? Pedestrian acress to area would need improvement particularly over existing bridge over the railway - no safe provision for pedestrians. |

The ladder stile at the South - East side of Wharncliffe Chase. The ladder stile is awkward - a new galvanised gated with a gate built in for walkers would be easier to negotiate |
