Totley (nr Cross Scythes) Baslow Rd SK306798, Totley Hall Lane ~SSE for ~500m then ~S for ~500m, thru Gillfield Wood & cross FB over Totley Brook, continue ~S for ~500m up to Fanshawe Gate Lane, ~SW on FSG.Lane past Old Hall, FP ~S for ~500m to Lydgate & cross B6054Rd, ~S from Lydgate for ~800m to Horsleygate Lane, follow HG.Lane ~W to 'Old Smithy', take FP ~SW to cross Horsleygate Road (B6051) at SK306768, meander ~W thru Smeekley Woods joining Car Rd (a BW) and continue W to SK296766, take BW ~S (bottom of Hewetts Bank) for ~1.5km to SK294750, turn E crossing Fox Lane into Shillito Woods (lunch break), follow Fox Lane S then W, turn in to pass Ramsley Resr, then head ~NNW for ~500m to Ramsley Lodge (a ruin), turn ~WNW to cross A621 Rd at SK261751, track ~NWW (to W of Stone circles), circle past pond / small Reser at SK276761, continue NNE to breached Reservoir (Bar Brook), ~NNE to cross B6054 Rd at SK285778, ~N past Salter Sitch to SK287789 (~200m to E of Trig Point), follow Brown Edge NE then N (alongside low drystone wall) to line of Totley Tunnel at SK291797, path (becoming a tarmac road) ~NE then ~E back (thru Sports Ground & past Cricketer PH) to Back Lane (footpath ~NE) to start in Totley - leader Simon Gray - Wednesday.
