2018.07.29Rev1 - Bakewell, ~NNW on A6 Rd, cross River Wye on Packhorse Bridge at ~SK215690, B.W. ~NW for ~200m then ~N to Monsal Trail & Toll Bar House, FP ~NNW to Buskey Cottage, ~WNW on Mires Lane & Rd into Great Longstone, FP ~W toward Little Longstone but turn North at #SK196717, & zig zag to & thru Dale Farm to / ~N up Moor Lane, at bend ~SK196728 join FP ~N across Watersaw Rake & over Longstone Moor, pass to West of Castlegate Stud Farm, on to Housley House, follow for ~300m A623 Rd ~ENE, then Tideswell Lane ~E into Eyam & on to Eyam Hall, ~SE on rd to Church, ~NNE thru churchyard up to road at SK220768, ~E on then ~N on Edge Rd past Mompesson's Well & on to Sir William Hill Road (SK225780), FP NE / NNE / NNW thru Eyam Moor to Leam, rd past Leam Farm, steep FP down to Hazelford Hall, Rd ~NE down to B6001 Rd & along it ~NNW crossing River Derwent on Leadmill Bridge, FP ~ NW passing well East of Nether Hall, under railway viaduct at SK227814 and enter Hathersage - leaders Janice Burton & Val Coleman - Sunday

Heavy Rain for first half of walk made taking photographs difficult but then lighter rain thereafter - rather pleasant coolness as a change to the hot drought conditions over the previous weeks
