on the Pennine Trail
This picture of the Viaduct is extracted from a later Trail Information Board as access below (to take a photo) is not possible here. We have used the path faintly seen below on other walks. One of the viaduct piers has a stone, which fell on and killed a workman, embedded. The stone is engraved in his memory.
