Copenhagen walk - Kastrup Metro Station to Ørsted Hus (about 26km long)
Note this is a work in progress - errors to be corrected and some titles still to be added
The walk, about 26km long, was devised & led on 5th July 2017 by my son Benjamin Brink Allsopp
The Route - Kastrup Metro Station, Kastrup Yacht Harbour, Aquarium, Amager Strand Park, Amager Strandvej (detour into Sundbysejlforening to see a design by Bjarke Ingels), cross KL Øvermarkens (view of Copenhagen's Spires), through Rosengang (allotments) to outer Fortress Moat, Amager Bakke (garbage incinerator and ski slope), Christiania Lakes, House Boat community, Naval Command Centre, Opera House, cross from Christianshavn over new retractable cycle & pedestrian bridge to Nyhavn, Sante Annae Plads, Amalienborg Slot (Royal Residence), along harbour to St Albans English Church & Gefion, around Kastellet Ramparts, Little Mermaid, Polar Bear, larger Mermaid, Cruise liners, south along PakhusKai, Østerport Station, Østre Anlæg Park, Kongens Have (Rosenborg Slot), Medieval City (Kultoret Square), up Fiolstræde to Skindergade, Israels Plads, Ørstedsparken, Ørsted Hus.
