2023.02.08 Wednesday - start Dore & Totley Railway Station (SK.324:813), ~200m N on A621 road, ~W / WNW / W for ~1.6km following FP / brook up to Limb Lane SK.308:820, ~120m ~N on L.Lane then ~350m ~W on Ash House Lane to Hathersage Road & ~120m ~W along it crossing ~NW along Long Line (a road) for ~550m then turn off ~NNE on FP (on West side of woods) to SK.303:831, ~WNW thru woods then W across fields to SK.294:833, ~N for 140m then WNW for ~360m up to road running SSW from PH, follow road just 'touching' Houndkirk Road SK.290:835, but turn ~W into Lady Canning's Plantation then ~WSW exiting at edge of woods SK.281:833, ~W for 200m to Ox Stones turning ~SSE for ~800m thru moor land to rejoin Houndkirk Road at SK.283:845, follow H.Road ~SSW for ~2.5km passing Outdoor Pursuits Centre and joining A6187 (Hathersage Rd) at SK.270:850, ~130m SW on road then turn off SE on FP turning ENE then ~E to cross Road (along Met Dist Bdy) at ~SK.274:802, follow path ~WSW bending ~S to SK.280:796, path 'wanders' ~ENE to Lenny Hill, we followed FP NNE then ENE (very steep in parts) - (to the East of the NNE Blacka Dike BW) to join this BW at SK.294:807, ~300m along BW & turn N but then directly SSE to Hallfield Farm then ESE passed Avenue Farm along Oldhay Brook (across Oldhay Lane) then ~E along Totley Brook Road but then crossing over the Railway Line at SK.314:804, follow path parallel to South of the railway line which turns N (above unseen spur rail track in tunnel) at SK.324:869 for 400m (crossing Twenty Well Lane) back to Dore & Totley Railway Station.
