2020.03.04 Bamford Station SK208825, ~ENE on Saltergate Lane (alongside Golf Course), ~NNW along Joan Lane, at ~SK209836 ~ENE up rough very steep track in Bamford Clough to New Road, ~100m ~E on New Rd to stile & ~NE into OAL then ~N thru Disused Quarry and past it to ~SK215845, ~E thru OAL (no path) to Northeast corner of Dennis Knoll, start ~N on Long Causeway following it only up to Stanage Edge, follow Stanage Edge ~SSE to Trig Beacon at ~SK251830, ~E to and over Upper Burbage Bridge, start ~SSE on path below Burbage Rocks, follow path for ~2.5km to cross A618 Road at SK263805, path ~SSE thru woods to cross B6521 Rd (at Lodge), ~SSW to National Trust Longshaw Lodge (toilets available), ~SW to south side of small pond, NW from pond to cross B6521 Rd & continue NW to cross Footbridge over Burbage Brook at SK257801, follow path ~SSW along Burbage Brook / Padley Gorge to Grindleford Station - Wednesday - leader Gordon Pursglove
