2018.04.08 - Coach ramble 'A' group walk. -
Great Ayton (church, along Rd / River Leven, High Green), ~ENE to Rye
Hill, E side of Rigg Quarry, ~NNE to Roseberry Topping,
CLEVELAND WAY (Hutton Moor, South then East side of Highcliffe Farm,
Highcliffe Nab, Guisborough Woods, ~NW / N / ~E through Spa Woods,
U turn then ~W along A171 Rd, ~N across rd at ~NZ641159, up and around
'quarry', ~N / ~E / ~NNE to Skelton Green, ~N thru Skelton, under
Saltburn Railway Viaduct, follow (mainly above) Skelton Beck to
Saltburn-by-the-Sea (beach) - leaders Judy Gathercole and Susan Rushworth -
Sunday
Note - Captain Cook's Monument a 16m high obelisk (seen from
several places on in walk) is not on the walk. The obelisk is on Easby Moor
which is about 3km ~ East of Great Aryton on Map 'Northing' NZ100
