9th June 2012 - ** Prewalk - Kings Tree, Black Dike, Barrow Stones, River Derwent, Kings Tree - Saturday

Not many pictures taken - misty & rainy for much of walk. Because of difficult stream crossings etc the scheduled walk on 13th June 2012 was changed to another location.

Lower Small Clough joins River Derwent

Flooded stepping stones* at Broadhead Clough necessitated awkward detour upstream and crossing on 2nd 'comb' across stream. * the stepping stones David Jardine knows well from an earlier walk on 8th October 2008.
